How does screw piling work?
The basic design of the screw pile system is a three metre metal pipe with an angled blade at its base. The screw pile is drilled down into the ground (with additional extension pipes welded when required) until the depth and design pressure from the engineer is found. It is then cut off at footing base level and the is job complete.
